Breton Financial Inc. provides comprehensive financial planning to high net worth clients on an ongoing basis.

In The Beginning...

Breton was formed as a sole proprietorship in 1982  by Pat Feeney, the founding principal and president of the company.  Roseann Bové, vice president of Breton, joined the firm in 1988 and it was at that time that the ownership structure was changed.  Breton incorporated as an S-Corp in 1988 and has retained its organizational make-up since.

Breton is a comprehensive financial planning firm that has stayed true to its roots.  In 1994 Pat Feeney was named as one of the nations top 60 financial planners by Worth magazine.  Since this was the first time that Worth had published such a list, the response was, to say the least, overwhelming.

With the demand for financial planning services at Breton far exceeding capacity, a decision needed to be made between taking on all newcomers and changing the way Breton does business versus strategically adding new clients whenever possible and maintaining the integrity of the firm. 

Luckily Breton's principals chose the latter, and Breton continues to thrive to this day!

Too often financial planning is only about finances.  At Breton, we believe financial planning transcends mere financial decisions.  We  take a holistic approach to planning, and consider a multitude of variables when coming up with alternatives to help clients pursue their life plan.  Balancing financial and non-financial factors is imperative when analyzing the true costs and benefits of any decision.
